bittersweet adj.

Bitter and sweet at the same time: bittersweet chocolate.

Producing or expressing a mixture of pain and pleasure: a movie with a bittersweet ending.

Dark to deep reddish-orange.

aftertaste n.

A taste persisting in the mouth after the substance that caused it is no longer present.

A feeling that remains after an event or experience, especially one that was unpleasant.

找到的文章還不錯，順便收一下。

Perhaps you have heard about the art of cooking, but have you ever heard of the art of roasting coffee? Roasting is a skill as well as an art that requires a lot of training and experience. To be an expert roaster means that one has the ability to "read" coffee beans.
Generally, there are four major kinds of roasted beans; light roast, medium roast, medium dark roast and dark roast. The light roast is light brown in color which creates a milder coffee flavor. The most commonly used roast in America is the medium roast because it produces a stronger flavor and is not oily on the surface.
Thus, this roast is often called the America roast. Another kind of roast is the medium dark roast which is darker in color. It has a bittersweet after-taste and is oily on the surface. Lastly, the dark roast produces beans that are very bitter. A common example of the kind of coffee made with the dark roast is the Espresso.
